Hi! I’m an incoming student to the Wilmore, KY campus this fall semester and will be moving into my dorm room at the end of August.
Due to personal circumstances which require the use of social services and government institutions, I would very much like to be a resident of Jessamine County a little bit earlier than the start of classes in order to transfer my residency from central Ohio (where I’m from) to the same county where I’ll be living for the entirety of my studies in the M.A. Christian Ministries program. I have to terminate my cases in my current location before I move, then move, and then I’ll be safe to apply for new help in the local area. I don’t want to go into too much more detail than that, so I hope you understand!
I’m looking for a place where I can stay for the months of July and August. I cook, clean, can look after children for shorter periods of time, and have my own car. I tried looking for short term leases but those are really hard to come by in such rural locations, and I haven’t come by any landlords that are willing to do it for any price. I don’t have much money at all, due to the nature of my situation, either. God has been so faithful to me and provided for my needs throughout my life, so I have nothing to complain about! 🙂 Do you know any families, individuals, churches, organizations or roommates that would be able to host me? I’m also thinking I would be applying for a small summer job to tide me over as well!
