Are You Called to Plant a Church?
Rev. Greg Moore, Executive Director of New Faith Communities for the North Carolina Annual Conference and the founding pastor of All Saints’ UMC, in Raleigh, North Carolina, will be visiting Asbury students on the Wilmore campus, February 19-20, 2018.
New Faith Communities exists to create new places for new people to be gathered into communion with Jesus Christ. Their church plants follow 4 methods of planting and renewing:
- Pioneer Planting – strategically planted church led by an equipped church planter and team in areas of rapid growth
- M3 Communities – Taking the church to the streets. M3 (Methodist Missional Movement) communities are expressions of local churches designed to reach people who are disconnected from Christian community.
- Multi-Site – a healthy church expands its ministry by starting new locations to reach new people.
- Mission Congregation – missional efforts to establish congregations designed to reach under-served and at-risk communities. These congregations will build a network of partners to support their life and ministry.
Rev. Moore will kick off his visit by hosting a dinner for students and spouses at Copper River Grill (501 Keene Crossing Drive, Nicholasville, KY 40356), at 6:30pm, Monday, February 19. An RSVP is needed so click HERE to sign up (space is limited to 15 so please sign up soon!).
