Asbury Theological Seminary is pleased to announce a significant step in the strategic realignment of the Beeson International Center for Preaching and Leading. As part of the Center’s expanded mission to better equip global leaders, the Asbury Theological Seminary Career and Calling Center has officially joined the Beeson Center.
By joining the Beeson Center, the Career and Calling Center will benefit from Beeson’s global reach and its renewed focus on equipping leaders for the Church. This integration represents a natural and strategic fit, as both centers share a common commitment to leadership formation, ministry innovation, and service to the global Church. The Career and Calling Center will continue to function as a centralized hub for leadership development, strengthening the bridge between theological education and vocational discernment and placement.
Under the leadership of Director Jeremy Fulda, the Career and Calling Center helps Asbury Seminary students and alumni clarify and prepare for their unique vocations by facilitating networking opportunities and professional connections. The Center offers a robust suite of resources and programs designed to help students thrive, including the Career Clarity Program, the Asbury Legacy Mentoring program, The Birkman Method assessment, professional resume and CV development, and more.
“Over the past several years, the Career and Calling Center has become a strong, mission-aligned resource for our students,” said Matt Barnes, Asbury Theological Seminary Vice President of Student Life and Formation. “Jeremy and his team have faithfully led the Center through a season of growth, expanding its reach and effectiveness across the Seminary. Aligning this work with the Beeson Center reflects our conviction that vocational discernment is inseparable from spiritual formation and Christian leadership. This transition builds on a solid foundation and positions the Center for continued fruitfulness as our students seek to live faithfully into the callings God has entrusted to them.”
Dr. Jessica LaGrone, Executive Director of the Beeson Center, expressed her enthusiasm for the addition: “I’m honored to welcome the Career and Calling Center into the Beeson Center. Equipping leaders for faithful service in the Church has always been central to our work, and the Career and Calling Center strengthens that mission by helping leaders discern where and how they are called to serve. Bringing these teams together allows us to support leaders in a more integrated and holistic way, from calling and preparation to placement and practice. This is a natural fit that enhances our shared commitment to leadership formation.”
In conjunction with this transition, the Career and Calling Center will be moving its physical offices to the Beeson Center building in early 2026.
