We are seeking nominations for the annual Faculty Teaching Excellence and Mentoring Excellence Awards. If you would like to nominate a full-time faculty mentor for either award, please complete the forms via the links below. The last day for nominations is March 4, 2019.
Mentoring Excellence Award
The faculty member chosen for the “Mentoring Excellence” award shall have demonstrated consistent excellence in doctoral dissertation mentoring or spiritual mentoring that includes:
- Spending quality time with their mentees.
- Providing wise, relevant counsel.
- Offering encouragement.
- Urging increasing independence in the mentee’s development.

Teaching Excellence Award
The faculty member chosen for the “Teaching Excellence” award shall have demonstrated consistent excellence in the classroom that includes:
- Being current in literature of their teaching discipline.
- Using appropriate and varied teaching methodologies.
- Communicating effectively.
- Appropriate evaluation of students’ coursework.
