Two of the books that were misplaced and then mistakenly brought to Lost-and-Found and then (mistakenly) put on the “free” table have been found, but there are four titles that are still missing. They were NOT stolen, but innocently taken on the assumption they were basically “abandoned property.” But they were not!
Please let me know if you have seen or have my copy of:
- Francis Young, Biblical Exegesis and the Formation of Christian Culture (taped, highlighted, annotated!)
- James Kugel and Rowan Greer, Early Biblical Interpretation (highlighted, annotated)
- Novatian in the “Ancient Christian Writers” Series (blue hardbacks)
- Irenaeus, Demonstration of the Apostolic Preaching (brand new paperback)
These books are essential in my teaching, especially the ones that are highlighted and annotated. I would deeply appreciate whoever has them to return them. They can just be placed in the Archaeology Lab if you do not wish to return them in person, though I do not believe any wrongdoing has been involved. Still, I just need them returned.
