Wesley Chapel UMC (10 miles east of Wilmore) is seeking a paid part-time interim pastor to serve from February 1 to July 1. Duties are typical of a small, rural church and include worship planning, preaching weekly, occasional pastoral caregiving, administration, and connectional activities within the Lexington District and Kentucky Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church.
This is a marvelous congregation with an incredibly hospitable spirit and a sense of joy. The appointment would serve as a fine opportunity for a Mentored Ministry student, and Wesley Chapel has a solid record of providing good ministry experiences for such students.
